To take or not to take

A lot of my clients ask me whether they should take multivitamin.  My take is to treat it as an insurance policy.  But you do need to make sure that it based on the Dietary Reference Intakes (DRIs). These represent the most current scientific knowledge on nutrient needs, developed by the National Academy of Science’s Institute of Medicine.

Here is the link so you can check it out from USDA.

Are you eating breakfast?

It could be that those who ate breakfast are the types who tend to eat healthier anyway, but, on the other hand, eating breakfast also has been shown to maintain our blood sugar levels and prevent food cravings and issues with will power later in the day—so eating breakfast might help you make better decisions later.

Another reason not to skip breakfast: the food we eat tends to decrease in healthiness by 1.7% for each hour that passes in the day—so make breakfast count.

Are you eating breakfast every day?!!
