A lot of my clients ask me whether they should take multivitamin. My
take is to treat it as an insurance policy. But you do need to make
sure that it based on the Dietary Reference Intakes (DRIs). These
represent the most current scientific knowledge on nutrient needs,
developed by the National Academy of Science’s Institute of Medicine.
