Personal experience: we all know weight control is all about energy
balance. When your energy intake is more than your energy expenditure,
you are going to gain weight. When your energy intake is less than
your energy expenditure, you are going to lose weight. It is very
simple really.
Case in point, after I came back from the
States, I am dropping pounds like crazy just by stopping the flow of
liquor;-). I lost 10lb in two weeks although losing weight is not my
goal, but it is amazing to see the effect of the decrease on calories
intake.
PS: I do indulge myself while I am traveling as you can see;-).
